This site has always had spam, however, it has been MUCH worse in the last couple of years. To Hent/Moderator: Have your server's spam settings/filters changed and/or can they be adjusted to filter out more spam? Are the spammers just getting a lot better at what they do? Michael

I put away the wire wheels, sanders, scrapers, and chemical strippers years ago and just have them all sandblasted now. Same thing for engines that will be rebuilt/restored. Michael

You cannot tell anything w/o pulling the head and inspecting the bore for scoring and taking precise bore diameter measurements. If that bore is significantly scored and/or worn oversize (suspected), just honing and putting in new standard size rings will accomplish NOTHING. I would not bother...
