put a skim coat of filler where needed,gave a coat of etching primer and a couple of heavy coats of lacquer primer.hoping to get paint on fri afternoon if I get some time
painted frame and fork today,dark blue urethane three coats then added two coats of clear with a little blue and silver flake .004.it will be hanging all weekend,will start putting it together monday should have a roller before end of week
cleaned my tank I notched nothing left to repair,it made me look at other tanks going to use the 3 horse tank just have to make lower mount .I have more tire clearance then the 3hp because of the 5 hp being taller.it looks better then the notched tank
thanks everyone,made the lower tank mount,installed points cond dripped a little gas in carb and away she went,going to run it the rest of week and if no issues will start detailing it on mon,I use a washer cart base for running just easy for me to move around
