Is a comet 30 Tav2 just a later (improved) verson of the original comet 30?

Anyone know what the differences were?
Or when they started making Tav2s?

The folks at Comet have been great on the phone with me every time I hit a snag with their products.

I have used both, the 1st gen only bolts on one way whereas, the gen 2 had more bolt hole options which allowed different engines and how it was mounted.The 1st had a hard cover which snaps in place and the gen 2 is bolted on with 4 bolts. Both work well.
