You misunderstood my tone.

This gentleman made a post just showing an engine he bought but nothing further.
No info, no questions, no further content provided like a cleaning or rebuild which to me seems a bit pointless.

these early hs40 engines are hard to find around me I've been keeping an eye open for any in my local area the last year or two at flee markets and on cregslist have found zip. it seems like there must be quite a few mini bike enthusiasts or people who that want to resell them around hear that keep scooping them up before I even see them. so its a nice find and if it was less then 100$ its a spectacular find. these mini bike correct early hs40s fetch stupid money on ebay. they are always way overpriced, well above what I'd pay for one. its funny I can find newer more powerful better shape hs50s of any age for around 50$ all day long but a less powerful beat up older hs40s nope.
