Anyone familiar with Tecumseh HH80 engines? opinions?

I can get a good deal on one that likely just needs a carb rebuild, set of points and may like to use it on a old montgomery wards mini bike i have to keep it more period correct but have plenty of extra punch. Anyone run one of these engines on their toys? anything to check for on them? any info would be helpful. thanks

HH for sure? If its got 2 H's on the 80 size its a "Horizontal HEAVY" with cast iron block......like a 64 pounder! they are also pretty tall and pretty bulky so you want to make sure you have the room.

But HH80 is kinda rare heavy industrial engine...it is built to last 20 years...

I did build a Tec HH80 on a yerf dog solid axle go kart it was crazy powerful. .on sharp turn it flipped go kart on side to easy....

picked it up today, looks pretty decent, yea its a tad on the heavy side but i thinkthe height is within reason and width too. I'll take a better look at it tomorrow. also picked up another manco t bird and a baja warrior, both have been fully tweakerized smh lol
