Hi Everyone, I have 4 mini's needing fully restored. I'm in San Gabriel Valley (LA area) and like to find someone that enjoyed working on these to help restore. I can do leg work to get processing (paint, polish, zinc, chrome), just need breakdown, reassembly. Please PM me if your able to help.

Are they complete? Do the motors turn ? I have spent 11 years driving right by you twice a week. I retired in September but am still going to LA every week to work on that house. I'm not sure how this would work but i'm game.

Hi Desertrat,
Yes, there. 99% complete. I have motors & carbs rebuilt by a Hodaka specialist so ready to drop in. I have SMS Trailmaster 80, a Bug Flea, and Bobanza MX-1510 and CR500- all Hodaka powered. Do you have preference? Can you call Fri or over wknd to discuss- 3109754732? Thx Dan

Thank you Havasu Dave. I reached out to him. Seems from Forum you know Slow Greg? I met him at Peirson’s annual event last spring, one is a Glea, 1 is a Trailmaster 80 like he had.

Yes, Ed does a great job.

Which Flea? I did an original and then a 1970, though sold the later one to a guy local as part of a trade.

Here is a flea I restored a few years back and a more recent MX, though I swapped out the Fuji for an E code Ace. I'm in the process of gathering parts for an E Code BC Hodaka bike.

If ED is local to you he's your man. I'm moved back up to the high desert north of Lancaster and selling my "work" house in Long beach. I still make weekend trips down still have good people down there I will be visiting for a long time. Good luck let me know if I can help.

Just on a side note I have an upholsterer in the LA area that does very fine work. She has done seats for me just from internet pictures. She does work for some clown down there named Jay Leno and did a porsche for some Jerry Seinfeld guy. I can hook up if you don't want to ship to Manchester on the east coast. Don't be mad at me young lady just throwing out options. These are some she did for me from pic's

Thanks Havasu Dave, those look nice. The Flea was modified from owner in Kansas. Picked up locally, I have a rebuilt Hodaka 55cc motor that was crate motor PABATCO sold when Yamaguchi failed in 63'. Some threads said some Fleas received these motors.
