things happen the original nut got thread messed up when it came out due to belt broken. I bought new nut from homedepot. Things happen and some are here spending time why something happened that has happened instead of focusing on the solution.
We were speculating the cause because it could determine the likelihood of removing the
bolt. For example, if it's cross-threaded, it probably is in there forever unless you drill it completely out and tap the hole for a larger
bolt or threaded insert. Using the wrong
bolt (metric vs SAE) would be a variation of cross-threading with the same result. If the
bolt were too long and jammed against the bottom of the hole, it
may come out
if doing so didn't strip the threads. To make it simple for you, if the
bolt didn't thread into the hole easily, you screwed up and the
bolt probably won't come out. Intelligent people usually do things for a reason, such as analyzing a problem. TIP: When asking for help, don't be a dick.
