That was one lucky kid! My dad talks about how a trail 70 was around 350 dollars at the honda dealer. He said he never knew anyone personally that had one. No one in our poor area could afford one.

He said they all had well used mini bikes they fixed up with junk mowers and such they got for free.

I didn't know there was so many different mini bikes till last year when I fell in the rabbit hole!!

No one had mini bikes in my neck of the woods growing up. I didn't know they even existed..We made 'push' karts out of wood and wheels from a wheelchair and rope to steer.

We were poor but us kids didn't know it.

The moon caps look awesome!

Future project will be a mini bike with moon caps adapted.
