Does chain pitch/type come into play when calculating speed? Or just teeth?

I run a #25H chain on my minibike projects. Do the standard minibike gear/speed calculators still apply? Or would I need #35 chain/sprockets?

thanks

So its not the diameter of the sprocket, but the tooth to tooth ratio that matters then? So the 520 chain/sprockets on my motorcyle can use a mini bike chain calculator as well as any other?

Like @ole4 said chain pitch doesn't matter. It is the sprocket tooth count ratio between drive and driven sprockets, drive sprocket RPM, and drive wheel diameter. So a standard mini bike gear/speed calculator works.
