Decided to try something different and picked up the GPS leading link front suspension to try on my DB30. I also added the 12" mini apes. I've only ridden it up my street a couple of times, so I don't have much time on it yet. So far it feels good and the front end isn't floppy at all. It does feel heavier than the stock fork. I do like having the extra couple of inches of wheelbase and extra weight on the front as it helps to keep the front end down some. It'll get light when getting on it even at 25mph with the engine/gearing it has in it.
I was talking to a friend of mine and we might be doing a trike conversion on it next. The frame is far from pristine, so I have no issues with him welding up some brackets for the live axle setup.
