The one for a 400x is longer than the Eliminator one. Mine measures at 2 1/4 long from the bend to the end...

Yes somebody cut the jackshaft plates off and welded on a battery tray and some other tabs up behind the seat. I also just noticed that the seat has eleven pleats and measures about 19" and my BC1300sh has ten pleats and measures about 18"
