.....I have a 3/4" clutch, can I make a sleeve (with slot cut in for keyway) so I can utilize the clutch I have for my TEC's 5/8" shaft? Any probs with this, assuming I can get the clutch nice and secure?

Thanks, that's very insightful. Makes sense, seems to me that the diaphragm style would definitely be more adaptable. Although I'm running mine in the stock position. Is there a throttle hookup thread on here, somewhere that applies directly to my style of carb? I haven't seen it if there is.

Is one any better or more preferred for any reason? Also, does this mean my engine will not get pregnant?

What is the difference between the carb with canister off the bottom and the one without? Is the canister a float bowl? My carb has no canister.

You're correct, right now it's on the rear of the engine, above the carb. I'm turning a cylindrical stainless steel canister into a MOON tank of sorts and probably will hang it below the top of the frame rail, so yeah, I can make a neat little header for it too. The engine fired off right away...

Alright, I'm new. I was hoping to have my mini bike put together and be able to show, beginning to end, my build. I was stoked to pick up an old edger at the swap meet. Set choke to full, two pulls and it ran great. Is this engine even suited for a mini bike? My two boys AND myself...
