Any of you ever melt plastic wire ties thru a hot glue gun to repair plastic? I saw it being done somewhere but can't find it again.

I had thought about that possibility but there is no sign of any brackets for mounting body parts, fenders, bumpers, etc. Plus there was decals & striping on the front panel that would have been hidden by body parts.

I got this from a friend of mine who was convinced that is is an early 50s model. I don't know where he got is information from. I have been unable to find any info on it, except that the 131 prefix on the model number means it was made by American Yard Products. One rear 10" wheel rim is beyond...

I think Fox but maybe not a Sprite. Pics I can find show solid tube forks on Sprites. The one in my pic appears to have front suspension. Maybe a Doodle bug or Trail Bug? The mounts for a jack shaft might be on all three models, even if not equipped with the jack shaft? I see the remains of blue...

I met a guy selling at a local flea market yesterday that told me he had a Tote Gote at home. As soon as he went home I went to buy it. It wasn't a Tote Gote but a small chrome plated frame with a Honda tiller engine. I left it where I found it.

Today, I picked up this old broken & previously repaired Toro Wheel Horse hood to get pieces from to fix the fenders & seat pan for my Manco trike. I think I'll go tomorrow and buy one of the plastic repair kits from Harbor Fright.

I will but it will probably be a while. The Gote is being restored.
