I not certain but it looks like the bike he is sitting on is a bolted together which would make it the kit bike. I;m thinking the store put that together and put the small Briggs on it.

I'm thinking your Frijole was most likely painted and assembled by the O'Dorey guys. I don't think Steens sold the Frijoles already assembled. One the guys I used terrorize the backalleys with rode a Frijole that had never seen paint and was as basic as could be. It lacked a clutch so...

Sweet but I don't understand why it is not fast. The 820s put out about 8-10 hp and rev very high. Do you have a Rokon version? They are detuned using a fat head gasket.

I don't know that the plate would help me. I could always use a backing plate with the TC and I will try and dry fit one tomorrow. Thanks for the lead.

I am refrreshing the go kart 800 and playing with the idea of putting a TC on it. I don't have a lot of room so I would like to do direct drive, no sprocket or backplate. So I would need a 1" driven to make that work. Question, does anyone even make a 1" driven?

I found that the best way to keep the exhaust from falling out is just don't start the engine.

There should be a number stamped on the frame. Usually it is down on the inside left frame rail around the jackshaft, may even be on the bottom. The # means something and someone will come on here and tell ypu where on the site to find the decodong info. Number=Taco
