No when I had the knock off mikuni installed I was riding going 7,000 rpm @50mph and would run WOT fine. I just could not find the correct pilot jets for that carb. So I switched over to the nibbi carb where I’m having the issue riding or holding the wheel up . And I did not check install height…
Ok so I moved the needle setting down with no luck .
After this I decided to get a couple new spark plugs and try rejetting again . I went all the way down to a 115 this time and put the bike up in the air and what do you know it revved past 7,000 rpm’s but the new plug was super white . I...
Right now I’m in the middle I’ll try lowering it and see what Happens. But correct me if I’m wrong here I always thought the needle only affected 1/2 to 3/4 throttle while the main jet affects full throttle ?
Hey so I have a modified predator 212 non hemi with the current mods

Gov delete
22mm nibbi carb(jets are 35pilot 140main)

Now previously I had a 22mm knock off Mikuni carb but I swapped to the nibbi because I could not find the correct pilot jets...
Im finally back with an update after waiting for the pilot jets to arrive. The original pilot jet did not have a number stamped on it so i tried to match it up as close as possible to one of the new ones. After looking up some info online about jets and elevation (im in Florida) i decided to go...
ive removed my pilot jet and have looked over this thing a million times there is no size stamped onto it . I just bought a kit that comes with sizes from 10-37.5 Will update progress once they get here.
Ok I’m at work now but when I get back home I’ll move the needle and figure out the pilot jet size . By chance do you know a ball park of where I should be at with the pilot jet ?
Pilot is still the one that came with the carb. I also have the c clip on the highest position on the needle. Also no this is a new carb and have not got it to run correctly yet. i have a 130 main jet inside now i will try a 140 and see what happens
Ok So ive put back in a stock timing key checked to make sure the o ring on carb and intake is aligned again even checked valve lash again and its set at .003 and my coil gap is set at .030. Ive even tried with gas cap on and off to see if its a venting problem even moved the c clip up on the...
Ok so I think I found my issue. The 7 degree timing key broke. Also my luck I lost the stock key..... so I ordered a couple and will update you guys once they get here in two days .
I have a clear fuel line and fuel filter that I can see the gas going into the carb . I am at work right now but when I get back home I’ll move the clip and double check that the o ring is seated evenly to the intake again
yes it has an o ring ive realigned it multiple times off of the head. I also sprayed carb cleaner around intake to see if the idle would change and it did not. But I will take it off and try again
