Maybe You've already tried Armoural. On the tires it did more than just make them shiny. 2 or 3 good coats actually seemed to help the rubber a little.
Is his Nibbi PE24mm carburater any bigger than others. I don't know anything about that particular brand. But on one of my 212's ( built a little hotter than his, ) but not much, I run a genuine Makuni 24mm flat slide and just love it. Most expensive, and Best carburater that I own.
I've built 7 of the predator small blocks ( 212 & 224 ) engines. Your combination sounds pretty solid. You might find you need a billet side cover. Sometimes they want to shake that joint loose no matter what you do. The billet side cover fixes that. How tall is the rear tire. Your gearing is...
I don't know about the two particular engines you speak of. But I have always thought that 5 minus 5 was 0. Peak rpm and torque values may help you discover any differences. Have you tried to research these numbers.
No comment on what you should do to the bore. But De-Burr every corner on the thing. Some 320 or 400 grit sandpaper works good. Inner and outer corners where the side cover attaches, same for the lip on the side cover. Also where the lifters enter. Some don't, but I like to enlarge the oil...
Cool cars, both of them. I spent a lot of time at Lions as a teenager in the 60's.
I really like your choice in rides. BTW, have never seen a mini bike that looks like the one you asked about.
The day of or after the procedure it's easy to think never again, and we all know why. But I really like the way pomfish put it. It's better to be on this side of the dirt. Never heard that one before. Every 2 or 3 years when I'm told I need another one I end up agreeing.
Tens of thousands of lives ruined. I hope and pray some politicians head roll after the smoke clears. As stated by massacre, " it's a sh-t show out here".
Incompetence on steroids.
I'm about 100 miles south of the disaster, so no worries, but GOD is it ugly. When the Santa Ana winds come, ( and they do Every year ) blowing hot dry air from the desert to the ocean the fire fighters are literally helpless to do much. Until the wind lets up, it's not going to get any better.
A far cry from a kid scavaging an engine from an old gas powered reel lawnmower and stuffing into a bicycle frame. I guess that's what we now call progress.
The mini I own was purchased new in 2020, but I have purchased 5 pretty old off road karts, ( still own 4 of them ). Some of the original tires would in no way possibly hold air. Cracked and split something terrible. I have replaced a couple, but most, just put in a tube in and all is good. A...
They would only be running in opposite direction if each crank were pointed outward. Both engines are oriented in the same manner. Both crankshafts are on the left side of their engine. Have to be turning in the same direction.
Did you buy it? It's got to have a lot of torque.
