So I have a fox sundowner that I put on facebook to sell and this guy wanted to trade for this roper. he backed out of the trade so I bought it outright. the 2 speed is kinda cool, pretty quick out of the hole, pretty low 1st gear. cant even feel it shift and will go 33 mph with my 220 body on it

So its the correct set up for that model Number? do you know what they called the bike? its not an SR

So I acquired a Sears Roper with a model number 131.80711, according to info on a sears page this should be an SR with a 5 hp and single speed. this on has a 4hp with a 2 speed. anyone familiar with this model. bike looks to be all original.

So I bought a Sears Roper with a comet 2 speed clutch. the one way was a little noisy when I pushed the bike around so I took it apart. looks like there's a spring missing on one of the bearings. Anyone have this part? the rest of the one way shows little wear.

well I was told it was a Gemini but now I think it is a Toyoco Masher. Anyway dont want to put much money in to it. it runs good but just a fixer upper. not going to restore. but thanks for the tip. I do have another bike that I plan to have a seat made for.
