Picked up another doodle bug this weekend, and 2 unknown frames. I'll get some pics tonight and try to post em up in the "what is this" part of the forum.
Update
Here's a few pics of the removal of the rear brace.
After that was removed the engine went in nicely. I ended up just drilling holes and not slotting them. With the stock chain tensioner still in place it's working fine. I still haven't swapped sprockets yet but plan on doing that...
Well I got the motor in and all hooked up. I removed the hoop in the rear that the bottom of the fender bolts to. I plan on setting it back further in the future, but will it hurt to test ride it without it in place?
Ordered my parts yesterday and now I'm just waiting on them to get here. I ended up getting 3 different rear sprockets. 53, 55, and a 60 tooth. 12 tooth clutch. Ready to get it going. My brother just bought another unknown minibike today. He's becoming addicted too, I think.

From what I've been reading, somewhere between 55 and a 60 tooth sprocket rear sprocket works well...

Just got a predator 212 tonight for the dirtbug that was my most recent purchase. I've been searching the forum and am still unsure of what exactly the swap will require. I know I can make it work with just the new engine and a new clutch, but I wanna do it right the first time. Is the engine...
New to the forum, just signed up today. Relatively new to minibikes also, got my first one probably 6 months ago. It's a rode hard Murray track 2. Since then three Baja doodlebugs have found their way into the garage. It's a growing addiction. I'll have to figure out how to post pictures and try...
