Hello all! I'm (still) working on my Rupp rebuild, which came with a Comet Cat99 torque converter. It's a unique setup in that the driver unit fits a 5/8" shaft. I haven't been able to find any reference to a Comet driver with a 5/8" bore, but I know the driven is a Cat99, so I figure it's all...
I took a look at my lighting coil recently and discovered that one of the fins (laminations?) is a bit jagged/bent:

I have one of those on my '70 Roadster... you can't find any mention of them on the Comet-related sites. Perhaps the Rupp TC covers would work? :shrug:

Seriously, though, what else do you need to know? You can run the model number through Partstree for specifics. That is, unless you're fishing for a sale.
Either way, it's a cool engine!
