    '69 Taco T-100 Correct Briggs Engine Model/Type/Code

Hi, I'm restoring a '69 T-100 and I'm in search of a complete original engine, or a shroud with the correct numbers. I know, a huge long-shot, but it would help a ton if I knew what I was looking for. I know the model is 130202, but getting the type and code has been allusive. If anyone has an...

    Interesting !!!

Looks like a '60-'61 Rupp Super K...plus mods mentioned and to the rear to fit that Palmini tank(Tank's likely worth a lot). Nothing that couldn't be put back to original. The front bumper was a Rupp option.

    What did I buy?

Looks like an FKE from the late 60's except for the bastardized rear end. The front wheels are Precision used mainly by Hornets, but also sold separately. Definitely not a Hornet.

820WB polished up and Frank Moore rebuilt

I'm a little late to the party here. The only one I still have is the Bonanza RS-2000 with the single 820, but that's the best engine of all. Fully modified, latest rod, piston, dual GEM V-12 manifold with dual alky cars.......and it's a stroker. Around 150cc. I have only run it for a couple...

    West Bend/Chrysler 820 TAV

I was wrong. I listened to someone that thought they knew and they didn't. From the horse's mouth(Dave Bonbright), all 820's(pre Vintage 820 around 2011) came with the same porting and power was varied only by the thickness of the head gasket(maybe a couple of applications used a 3/4" rather...

Ok, you guys talking about different porting and 820's got me curious because I didn't think either one were correct. I talked with Dave Bonbright(the West Bend guy) and he said

You can see the head gasket thickness from the side, and if you just pulled off the muffler you can see its intake and exhaust port configuration and also if it has a chrome bore or not. I always thought all 820's had chrome bores, but I guess I was wrong.

A little more info on that 820. I just learned that some of the "industrial" 820's also had porting differences, so just changing the head gasket will likely not bring the HP all the way to 10, but it still would still help a lot if you have the thick gasket in there now.

I was looking for some other stuff and found info on the 82019 Model - From the Chrysler Power Bee 1981 service manual 1- Major Use - Motor Bike 2- Customer - Arctic Enterprises 3- Original year built - 1971 4 - 6.4 HP at 6000 RPM Time to swap out that head gasket. It must really be a thick...

Go Kart Cycle / Flexo Scrapbook

I haven't followed Go Kart Cycle threads, so I don't know if this has been posted before, but here's a great review from Rod & Custom in August 1959. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1SFDwXNMMm8Y7wdG60pFNs6cMgw-LP-Rk/view?usp=sharing

DLendon is correct. CW 820's are the norm, CCW far less common. BTW, DLendon, since you're into vintage karts, you probably know that for a left-hand setup, the carb would typically be mounted on the other side and the engine flipped on the mount so it's facing "forward" when mounted, but maybe...

Anyone up here into Bonanzas? :-)

I was looking through some old doc and ran across this review of the '68 Bonanza BC-1300SH in the October issue of Cycle Guide. I'd forgotten all about it and it's probably the best mini-bike review I've seen of any mini-bike. Since I haven't seen it online, I thought I'd put a link up here so...
