I'm going to put a clutch brake on it and maybe try a HF 6.5 in the future. I welcome any other suggestions as well from those with experience with these bikes.
I picked this up for $175. It's complete and runs great with the original 3.5 tecumseh.
There is about 1/8 inch of side to side play in each side of the rear axle. Is that normal or should I tighten the axle bolt to close the gap? Not sure if my picture worked. Thanks.
Anybody know how much rider weight a stock Manco Thunderbird will hold. I'm rebuilding it for my son but I would like to "test drive" it once in a while. I weigh 260lbs though. Thanks.
