Thank you everyone for the comments. I had the forks strapped to a metal bench with a floor jack and 2x6 on the fork leg. Used propane to heat it up while I jacked it up. Lifted the bench so I sat on the bench and it still lifted up and the tubes didn't budge. I do have a tabletop h press but...

Finally finished my Wren. Used a craftsman 3hp edger motor, moved the tank to the front, and elbow for rear exhaust. Generic seat, paint and some stickers to finish it off.

Marcus previously identified mine as a Scout but he was unsure of the year.

Problem is I'm unaware of another show like this in socal. Hopefully something new will take its place. I really liked displaying mine, seeing great minis and talking with people about the hobby

I grabbed this out of the pile. Its a nice Sears side popper edger motor from the 90s. It should clean up nice. I'll save the hs40 for something else

Found it in1983 sears catalog. I thought it was older. I have a nice hs40 for it from the same era.
