Time to drain gas from the tanks and carbs.

I run 100% gasoline. Never had a problem (knock on wood) with leaving some in the tank or carb. True, but too big and sort of overkill. I suppose they could be fabricated from 2x4s--on that note, someone on YT made some stands from 2x4s in a log cabin pattern, about 10" x 10" or something...

    Need cover made

The pic is cut off. What does it look like on the other end? Can you imagine trying to make that outside of a factory, without a giant metal press and male and female forming dies? Using existing parts, pots or motor housings is the way.

    favorite yt mini bike channels

I enjoy group ride videos like this. Looks like a lot of fun. Sort of an outlaw minibike gang riding on the streets (oh dear!).... This is quite old now and everyone is riding a Baja Doodlebug...

Time to drain gas from the tanks and carbs.

Easier said than done sometimes, especially without a petcock. Do you siphon it or use any special device to drain the fuel like a fluid transfer pump? I like your attention to detail. Is it a special stand? I suppose if you didn't use a stand you could push the bike 2" forward/back every week.

I've never stolen mailboxes before nor done anything of the sort. . . . .

ID my old minibike? (Working from memory here...)

How many of those features do you think were original to the bike and which were maybe added by the previous owner? I'll take a wild guess and say that it could be an early Manco Streaker due to points 4 and 9.

    Klipper Kart Info Needed

Post some photos of the kart. With photos it sort of dispels the fog and brings out people who may, for example, have a Klipper but don't know it is a Klipper but they may be able to help--many such cases with go kart and mini bike owners not knowing the ID of what they have. "2 seater Klipper...

    How to tell shaft size

Ah, you're sourcing an engine sight-unseen, that's the real trick. Maybe someone here can state unequivocally that "all" [such and such displacement] blower engines take a __inch shaft. Might pay to narrow it down yourself, by that I mean finding a trend in certain engines having a certain...

Thank You On This Veterans Day

If you're a veteran get out there today and get a free meal. Most restaurants offer a free meal on veteran's day; all you need is a your vet card or your DD-214. Best bet in my opinion is a "hog trough" AYCE [all you can eat] buffet kind of restaurant like a Golden Corral :p Veteran's Day sales...

    I broke my Cheeftah

I am enjoying the careful attention you are giving to this bike. Carry on sir. I was not aware a Cheeftah could be broken down in that way--a two piece (or three if you count the fork) frame is intriguing. Thanks for showing us the bike in broken-down form.

WTB: go kart one piece tie rod

Got a better pic? I have never seen anything quite like that before (the "slotted metal piece" looks like the most unique part) but have seen similar primitive steering setups on promotional karts. EDIT: clearer pics will help you as (you never know) someone may have what you need but not know...

What are you plans for the kart? Saw the decal that was painted over and I  but it is what it is.

Wow, love it. The utter simplicity on the chair and the simple motor mount too. And the frame has no "bumpers".

Have you checked your chain lately?

This is wild stuff! Would love to see more photos of the chain with those cracks. It looks like it is cracked on adjacent links and every other link in some cases. Fascinating. Certainly worthy of a Hall of Shame award. I want to know the brand for sure. I would blame it on "metal fatigue" or...

    Bug Humbug

Nice score. Is it truly kid-sized as the ad with the kid cartoon character suggests or can you fit on it? The 33" seat to pedal length from the ad seems almost normal for adult karts of the era but I don't know for sure. I need to find out the seat-to-pedals length on Art Ingels's first...
