The throttle kit that Richard posted work very well, however, you cannot use them with the stock Briggs 5HP governor. Michael

That is a kill BUTTON. They have kill SWITCHES that are a toggle switch which you do not have to hold down- just throw the switch to on or off. I have this one on 2 of our bikes: https://www.ebay.com/itm/155548755543 Michael

That situation is where a engine kill switch/button comes in REAL handy! If you do not already have one, install one on the handlebars next to the throttle. Michael
