Well here's an update tomy project. All I have left is to find some nicer looking fasteners and find a way to get my brake to work. I can hook it up to make the grace work, but it needs some kind of spring to make the brake handle open back up. I've seen somethinglike this near where it attaches...

Now I gotta figure out how to hook up my brake lever to the drum and how to set up the throttle correctly. Is there a thread out there on how to set up a 6.5 with a twist throttle?

I got a hop up kit from NR....only thing I had installed so far is the header. Figured I'd wait to work out any bugs till I hopped it up. Can't wait though.

What kind of oilmwould be best to run in my predator 212? also any kind of recommended breaki in procedure? I tried to use the search but it gave me zero results for oil.....:shrug:

It probably will a little, not too big of a deal. Look at the pic of the forks that were on it. Forks are bent backwards, and the handlebars were all over the place.

Just pressed it on there. It's a tight fit, one smack with a rubber mallet and it ain't going anywhere.:hammer::thumbsup:

I would scruff the paint with some find sandpaper then spray a couple coats of a high build primer then I'd wet sand the primer until it's nice and smooth. That's what I did with my minibike and it turned out pretty good.

Check out tcpglobal.com I bought a duplicolor burnt orange metallic spray paint from them, it turned out great.vyou have to bury the pain in clear to get it to really pop. They might have a green I can't remember.

I'm a newbie and this bike came with zero hardware....so I'm a lil confused. How do I attach this drum brake to the frame? Pics would help because I've read that I need to use some kind of conduit mount, but I have no idea what that means. Thanks for the help....here's a few other pics to...

Hemigremmy....you don't happen to know the make on your mini do you? Looks like we got the same frame. I changed my front forks out though...original ones were too bent up to salvage.

I've read that most of the honda clone parts will not work on the newer Harbor Freight Predator engines. Is that true? I'd like to get a header pipe for it and an intake, make just the carb too. Any ideas?

Any ideas for which setup to use? where to get it? I was thinking between the 6.5hp and the TAV2 torque converter this thing should really haul ass, figured the drum brakes might not be enough.
