    First one I've ever seen

I saw this over the weekend. It was NOT for sale.

    Boonie Bike, again

The fender will not fit under the cross brace. The tire is flat so it will probably "grow" a little when inflated.

    Boonie Bike, again

I sat a 5 HP B&S on my Boonie for the first time today. I believe I need a longer front brace on the rear fender. Seems like the fender should match the curve of the tire better.

    I broke my Cheeftah

I ordered, and just received a brake kit, including the caliper, cable, and lever. Also got a throttle kit including the twist grip, cable, and LH matching grip. My mistake but the brake lever and grips are for smaller diameter bars and it's doubtful if I can use the brake caliper, even with a...

    I broke my Cheeftah

A friend of mine just told me about a sign company 10-12 miles from here that made some stickers for a bicycle he restored. I'm going to take the plate with my Cheeftah sticker on it to see if I can have a new one, or two made.

    Nice wheel I picked up

Here's a good looking wheel I picked up. Only problem is I only have one. I'll probably never find a match for it.

    Would You Buy This?

I'd buy one but not for $800.

A Sears cart I picked up

That $209.95 two seater sure looks like mine, except for the wheels & tires. Possibly mine is older? I'd love to find a clear, color pic of that decal & stripe on the front.

    Manco Rustler 310

Any of you ever melt plastic wire ties thru a hot glue gun to repair plastic? I saw it being done somewhere but can't find it again.

A Sears cart I picked up

Here is a pic posted on here some time back. The owner said this is a Bird mini bike. So the wheels are out there, I just gotta find them. Wish me luck, please. I have sprayed all the bolts, nuts, and moving parts with PB Blaster and will repeat as needed to disassemble it.

A Sears cart I picked up

I had thought about that possibility but there is no sign of any brackets for mounting body parts, fenders, bumpers, etc. Plus there was decals & striping on the front panel that would have been hidden by body parts.

A Sears cart I picked up

I got this from a friend of mine who was convinced that is is an early 50s model. I don't know where he got is information from. I have been unable to find any info on it, except that the 131 prefix on the model number means it was made by American Yard Products. One rear 10" wheel rim is beyond...

    I'd if you can

I think Fox but maybe not a Sprite. Pics I can find show solid tube forks on Sprites. The one in my pic appears to have front suspension. Maybe a Doodle bug or Trail Bug? The mounts for a jack shaft might be on all three models, even if not equipped with the jack shaft? I see the remains of blue...

Wild goose chase, home empty handed

I know the frame had rear suspension.and was open in the rear, meaning no loop behind the seat, like ones with a sissy bar. Coilover shocks (one badly bent, but used replacements included), and the rear frame section pivots up close to where the down tubes turn to horizontal. He was firm at $100...

Wild goose chase, home empty handed

I met a guy selling at a local flea market yesterday that told me he had a Tote Gote at home. As soon as he went home I went to buy it. It wasn't a Tote Gote but a small chrome plated frame with a Honda tiller engine. I left it where I found it.
