Guy on Old School Mini bike runs down and injured Woman

Although it was an accident, to leave the poor woman there without any regard for her well being is the real crime, clearly conscience is somewhat under developed in this individual! Now I'll translate that into another somewhat crude language that's inappropriate for public viewing.

    New build rake angle

I can not tell a lie, those are fantastic bikes!!!!! Funny how 35 degrees doesn't seem to be too much, if you don't mind me asking manchester1 do you know what the wheel base length is on those nice builds of your's? I'm tossing around the 4 foot wheelbase which would fit nicely on the back of...

    New build rake angle

Hey Thanks a lot guys appreciate the feedback!!! So anywhere between 26-35 degrees, excellent. What I'd like to do is keep the bike as tight as I can because the end goal is to carry it around on the back of the jeep on the hitch so I'll likely go for the low end of the scale. The bike isn't for...

    New build rake angle

Hi guys, I'm starting to build a scratch build bike and am hoping someone can assist with the rake angle. What I'm considering is a bike roughly the size of an Azusa bike and have no idea if there is a golden rule for the rake or what might be a good starting point. Any input would be...

    Foot brake help

Thanks Havasu Dave, Haven't been well lately so I haven't been on. I was referring to the scrub brake, my apologies. Actually I've scrapped the idea of a scrub brake as I've come up with a way to put a band brake on the rear tire so that should be far superior to the scrub brake setup.

    Foot brake help

Good day guys, been a little while since I've been on, life! Question is, if a person had a foot brake can a lining of some sort be put on it to assist? Has anyone tried it, if so what was used and how effective was it? I do believe I have read something of this nature just can't find it...

    Generac 216cc

If I'm not mistaken one of the online Kart dealers has a TAV Torque converter kit that has an adapter for a threaded shaft although, I can't be certain if it's for that type of threaded shaft or the tapered ones, if I come across it I'll let you know otherwise check out the Kart sites like...

Engine, she no run so good!

Here is a couple of pics of the Canadian version of what I believe to be the equivalent of the American Harbor Freight predator engine. The store was out of the 6.5 hp during the sale so they gave me a 7 hp instead. The last engine lasted 7 yrs with no problems so for $129. and a two year full...

Engine, she no run so good!

Briggster, It is the original tank and I've had some problems with it in the past, it had a fuel level bubble that disintegrated and I've been unable to come up with something to seal the opening with. The fuel flow from the tank though seems to be more than adequate with no sign of it being...

Engine, she no run so good!

Yup no Harbour freight in Canada, we have the equivalent called Princess Auto. Thanks guys, I did check the e-tube and everything else I can think of and cleaned the carb 3 times, so much for 3rd time's the charm. A carb from OldMiniBikes is 46. bucks plus duty and shipping so I'll likely end up with an...

Engine, she no run so good!

Thanks chipper, trinik7597. The engine is bone stock no after market parts or anything else. I can't find an air leak anywhere so if I had to I'd put my money on shortage of fuel but like I stated I think I covered the basics. The float is plastic and no holes and is moving freely and I haven't...

Engine, she no run so good!

Could use a little help guys, I have a 196 cc clone on an mb165 that won't run without the choke almost fully closed. I removed the carb and cleaned out the jet and verified fuel is getting into the bowl lifting the float up and down. I checked for air leaks and found nothing, so having checked...

    Frustrated....OldMiniBikes Warehouse..

I ordered parts not too long ago and received them within a week, seemed to be efficient service. To me the best policy for any company is to keep the client informed as to the status of their purchase. At least if the client is aware of the situation it alleviates some of the frustration all...

Mini bikes, my number 1 hobby hands down. What are some of your other hobbies?

Other hobbies are boat design full size and rc, I design, build and test just for the fun factor and to keep the brain busy apparently it helps keep Alzheimer's at bay, if I remember correctly lol. Also design and build aircraft, rc only can't afford the real ones. Took up a little wood carving...

    Micro Power Products Bike

Hey MINI_MATIC That is about one of the cutest little things I've ever seen!!! Is that a friction drive type motor for a bicycle? Would you be kind enough to put a couple pics of the drive setup?
