Battery box, stator, shocks restored and llong front springs back from the chrome shop. Still waiting on the small front springs.

Ran across some photos from the powder coater

Received the front forks and rim from the machine shop, they removed 4 mm from the disc mount to clear the forks. Looks pretty good. Still waiting on chrome . Completed a little more wiring. Looks like I'll add a battery because the stator just isn't strong enough to run the 12v light setup.

Got her wired this weekend. I used a harley amf 125 headlight, like the look . Still waiting on chrome and for the machine shop to complete the front hub. Getting there.

They were manufactured in New Orleans, I found 3 in Virginia, 1 in NC and 2 in SC, just trolling marketplace is how I found most of them. It's taken several years to find them though. Always looking

Still waiting on chrome and the seat. Added a few additional decals, chain, brake levers and belt.

Test fit the engine today.

Some of the powder coating came in, I think it turned out pretty good. Now to start the engine rebuild.

Centered the rear wheel, made templates for the disc brakes then disassembled and the frame off to powder coating.

Brought home another Simplex. Due to the modifications the last owner did, I'll go a different route on this one. I'll try to keep the post updated on the progress.

I don't think I received the pm on the mtd seat. Did you have them?
