I just made two the other night. What I ended up using was a heavier gauge electric fence wire. It was stiff enough not to bend, but thin enough to get good bends. A couple pair of vice grips and wala.

Got almost everything installed last night. The only issue I am having is the throttle. I cannot seem to get the throttle to wide open. I am hoping maybe tonight will be the night!
