They are available for kart racing. Many of the big dogs run sodium filled or gun drilled valves already. The problem is such things are very expensive lol

A modified engine almost always favors a higher compression ratio than when stock. In most of the engines we build we shoot for high compression long stroke high RPM engines with as much advanced timing as we can get :laugh: Diesels have to have a compression ratio of at least 12:1 ? or around...

Removing the governor arm is no biggy, but you do not want it just flapping around in the motor.... that can cause some serious issues..... not that it necesarrily will but it definitely can..

Dansoslow.. very good! another factor behind both valves being open is the difference in temperature between each port being as the exhaust is much hotter the particles move at a much faster rate therefore creating a bit of a wind current so to speak, this is not a major factor but it does aid...
