They were called pony engines in the 60's for starters instead of electric starters, like on dozers or old old road graders.

Just throwing this out there.Is it off an old primer motor for an old dozer or other equipment, I remember seeing a few small gas engines used before you could fire the diesel.. not 100% sure.

Just older and tired of car/truck builds. Had a few frames stashed in back garage and shelf of 5hp briggs. Plus they make me smile when i ride them,ha. I will be building my own big man frames again and make a few rollers. Want to find out if I can run E85 in briggs.

Decided to get back on OldMiniBikes after 13 years, and all kids grown up. Started tinkering on minis/custom frames again and stop big car builds. Glad to see some old members that I remember.

Talked to guy I got it from,he said he bought it 16 years ago,said it was bought locally,he thinks he rembers Azusa name,with a blackjack sticker.And rims do not have Bonanza on them. Thanks

Lot's of help and replies from evryone,but still not a solid answer.Has 8'' Go-power rims,4 hp tec,40/41 rear sprocket/drum.Any more help???

It looks like the strut is on there for when you loose control and smash into a wall,it will dampen the blow,and all the room under the backbone ,in front of the engine is where you put your big as$ first aid kit.

So...,8'' Go-power rims,maybe a manco or css frame.Anymore help or guesses?

On my new project,I need chain ,either #40 or #41,I have 8'' go power rims with internal drum brake.I'm buying a tav drive and running a built clone(race cart engine from a friend)The rear sprocket will take a 41 chain I have ,but feel sloppy.Should the sprocket be marked or stamped somewhere...
