    Exhaust Baffle Insert

I welded a beefy spring in the pipe of this bike. I dont know what difference it really made since I didnt try it without but its quiet and sounds good like a regular muffler

Anybody have a Cub Cadet lawn tractor? I have a stupid question ❓

Thats normal to be missing. I notice it too every time I work on one. They dont hold the seat on the only reason it has one where the slide latch is to stop the seat from sliding all the way forward and out of the tracks.

marvel mystery oil good or bs

The first time I used it was in my blazer with 350 that was burning a quart every 600 miles. After putting it in the oil it was a quart every 2k. So I guess it freed off the rings or sealed the valve seals. It was weird because it wasnt sitting around it was always a daily drier. I still put it...

    Gas Tanks?

Not the safest way but its quick I use muratic acid on rusty tanks its probably overkill for varnish but for rust just be really carefull not to get it on yourself or smell the fumes and the paint im not sure if it harms it but i dont take the risk wipe anything off right away. So i use the acid...

New project idea. What could go wrong?

This one I bolted a #35 sprocket onto the freewheel and a jackshaft to get the gearing down. I like it with the freewheel no complaints about that and the little band brake does quite well and seems to be holding up fine.

    Cat frame repair

Weld'em up. You can back them with a brass or copper plate and build up till they are full. And the slotted ones only where its been bodged . Then take a file to it to clean up the slot. Dont weld the whole thing up and drill new thats not nessesary. It looks like they bolted on a tecumseh big...

Just accidentally grinded my welds and tube, it looks like crap. What do i do now?

There is no making a weld look good as soon as a grinder touches it. Either weld nice or make it look like it never was welded. I grind it down then flap disc it then finish it off with an angle die grinder with a roloc disc. Then bondo. usually just spot puddy to fill in the minor craters and...

    1905 Style Motorcycle Build Design

I think the big thing with this type of bike is getting the proportions right with the engine frame and wheels. 20" is too small to do anything with. 26" might be too big to look right with the engine. I think the right balance might be a 26" frame with 24" wheels. And you still might need to do...

Yeah the additives settle out and I wouldnt use it in an engine at that point. Just in pump oilers or as bar oil. Im not sure how long it takes I do alot of cleanouts so I get old oil all the time. Iv only seen a handfull that were clumpy at the bottom and they were the old paper cans from the...
