I know I'm a little behind but if your still looking Toro made a 2 stroke (not the normal 1000 or 2000 paddle) this has a motor made by Suzuki that is 2stroke and I believe it is 5.5 or 6 hp, you can find these kinda cheap now as they are about 8 years old.

Yes they are great little bikes, but the 2.8 is the weak link! Have you looked into mail order from Harbor Frie ght? Or find a nice Tecumseh like I did!

I think thats what I will do, (throttle stop) My youngest gets on it (he's 11) and the back tire tears loose! He is a well trained rider, plus I wont let him ride without supervision. It just makes you think when you see a doddlebug throwing a 6 foot long rooster tail!
