I have cleaned the carb out with carb cleaner as best I could. Drained all of the old gas and dropped a few drops of gas under the spark plug. The bike is starting, revs super hard, and then dies out. Do I need to put the chain back on for the engine to keep running??

Thanks for the advice. I took the spark plug out this morning and replaced with a new one. I also dropped in some gas like you said and the engine fired right up, but it will stall out after starting up. Do I need to take the carb apart and clean it now? It did sit with gas in it for over a year.

The clunk at the end is what I think is causing the problem. I'm not sure what it is though. How would I go about fixing the recoil or flywheel key??

Thanks for the info. I had a feeling it was rusted pretty bad from the photos. I had him down to what I though was a decent price and then he went and painted the frame blue. Now he is asking $25 more for paint and labor. I said thanks but no thanks.

I recently purchased a Baja DB30R and am now interested in building my own mini bike from scratch. My friend is selling this frame, but I have not been able to identify it online. Can anybody help? Also, how much do you think it is worth? He said it only has rust on the bottom rear of the frame.
