I have been trying to buy this bike since the day it was listed!

I finally took one of these apart… and Charles S was exactly right! They are nylon but sure had me fooled with the paint and the sound they made when I banged a wrench on them Sorry about that.

Good eye studeman68! Now I’m on the hunt for the correct forks, clutch cover and seat. I know it won’t be easy, maybe a complete zebra will show up. Really cool bike you have

I think Charles S is correct, they look identical to the Azuzalite wheels, but these are Aluminum

I got such a good deal on this Taco frame, I know the forks are wrong but I bought it for the kickstand! (They are hard to find) I’m going to relist it and I’m wondering if anyone can identify the wheels?

If there is no provision for a jack shaft, it may be possible to Just flip the rear wheel around.

I'm not sure how to date these. Not like the newer ones with the three groups of numbers on the shroud. But the embossing style was used from the the 1950's up until 1962ish
