Having issues finding info on the oil change. I know the oil drain plug is on the bottom. But what exactly are those 2 bolts on the left side? I took them both out and nothing drained. But they were very gummed up

Just picked this bad boy up! From original owner! 1970 Bonanza with original ace 100 motor!

I got the Bearkat up and running! However there is no option for a n axle adjuster / block to help the rear axle from moving forward and putting chain out of wack. Any ideas? I added a thumbnail. Thanks

Are you SURE? A #40 will NOT fit on my primary jack shaft. It’s either too short or too long. I’m thinking 41

Also. Even though the engine is out. I pull the cord and it’s VERY easy to pull. And still creates spark. Is that a sign of low compression? Seller was very honest and said it ran fine when he pulled the engine out for repaint. (Paint job sucked which is why I’m redoing it)

Hands down the hardest thing I’ve ever had to strip paint off of. Doing a full restore. Front suspension works! Frame has. ZERO dents besides the front engine splash guard from small rocks (to be expected)

Should I paint it back to an original color? If I go with something crazy like a neon green or something, would I be destroying the value?

Also I don’t think it’s missing anything original. Just the chain is missing. Have original grips, pegs, engine unmolested,etc. Going to repaint the frame after leveling out this paint. Since last owner painted black over oem yellow. Not sure what color I’m going to go with yet. possibly sell...

I wasn’t going to cut it. Was hoping to just direct bolt an engine on which may seem not possible. Frame is stripped and getting ready for repaint and then throwing original engine back in!
