Wow, I've never seen that setup, but I am a newbie to vintage mini bikes.
What kind of brakes and throttle would be on that model?

When I bought mine, it came with the original chain too. I had to take the rear tire off to get the chain off. I have no idea why there was a pulley on the motor and sprocket on the back? Maybe the 1968 B&S wasn't original to my...
Yep, mine had a pulley on the engine , but a sprocket on the rear wheel. What's up with that?
Do you have anything that is run by a pulley instead of a chain? I would love to see a picture or two of how that is set up.
I'm one of those people who it attracted to anything vintage and unusual. That's why I like these old engines over a new one. I guess I still enjoy the good ol' days.

I appreciate the input. You are probably right. I'm not going to gain much going from a 2.25hp to a 3hp.
I just love the older vintage stuff. Maybe I will keep the 3hp for a future project.
