49cc

Hey guys new user, first post. I bought a 49cc motor scooter and I got it to start but when I pull the throttle the chain spins, but the back wheel doesnt move? It spins the sprocket on the wheel. Any ideas what the issue could be? I don't know much at ALL about small engines or mini bikes...

Hi, i am in the process of restoring a Tomos Tx50. I recently changed the gaskets on the engine and saw that the engine has a two cables coming out of it. one of them i know is for the spark plug. But could the other one be used to power a 12 volt light? If so will it need an voltage regulator...

Does anybody know what size chain this sprocket is:shrug: Its really close to a 35chain, but its not. This sprocket is on a 49cc chinese 2 stroke engine :chinese: Thank you.

Does anyone have any experience with these 49cc two stroke engines? I was thinking of building a micro-bike,similar to a Taco Frijole,with this engine and pocket bike wheels and tires. How reliable are the ones seen on Ebay? Thanks for any info-pro or con.
