I have a complete and running 1972 Moto-Skeeter 350. The petcock fuel shut off is wore out and leaking fuel out the valve handle. The throttle cable has broke along with the nut that secures the cable into the throttle handle. Looking for replacement parts...thoughts?
I have approx. 40 ft of NOS cable housing. This is the old stuff that is metal lined not plastic. The outer shell is lite grey in color and just slightly textured. Perfect for an older restoration.

I also have one brake cable with red cable housing...
As some of you know, I just finished cleaning up my 69 sprint. It had zip ties on the brake & throttle cable originally holding them to the frame. There were only two of the original zip ties left on it when the bike came to me. I went ahead and put zip ties back in the locations they were...

Just thought I would share this with everyone. I know everyone on the forum has said just solder on the end but this is a detailed video on how to do it. I tried many times to do this in wood but it didn't take so well. The methyl hydrate (or...

I'm not around the bike right now so I can't take a measurement, but I'd like to go ahead and get my new grips and cable ordered if possible. Can anyone give me a definite answer on a throttle cable length for this setup? The ones I'm seeing are typically 48, 53 and 60. Any of these fit the bill...
Does anyone have a good source to buy a throttle cable to fit my mikuni. Right now im using an oem replacement doodlebug cable (48" conduit i think) and its just a little short. I got an azusa with some tall handlebars and i think about 65" would fit allot better. I would rather get one that is...

I'm in the tx area anywhere near ft hood, san Antonio and in between.
Shoot me a pm if you have a fair offer
