when i turn the throttle the linkage don't work like it should? what am i missing? anyone got good pics? thanks :shrug:

Hello, I just scored a 3-4 year old doodle bug from my neighbor, his kids only put an hour on it and then lost interest. Upon inspection when I twist the throttle wide open every thing looks good but when I release the twist grip the throttle (at the carb) stays in the WOT position. No coming...

Finally finish assembled my latest bike today. The throttle linkage took some figuring out. It's a 1969 3hp copper briggs with the updraft carb. Not missing any parts for the governor. I set it up so that the square rod gets pulled down by the twist throttle' s cable. That looks like it should...

Hey Fellas, I'm hoping someone has this L-shaped piece, and the spring that goes with it laying around. :thumbsup: I believe it comes with a spring that mounts with it as shown in the exploded parts diagram. I've also seen them like this.
