Posting here to get the widest audience for a response. Manchester and I are going back and forth on the seat for my build-off bike. We think I have an extra cross brace on the bike that was probably added and the original is gone. We are trying to figure out the correct length for the Model 600...
I'm new to the site here, glad to be a part of the mini bike club. Looks like a lot of knowledge here. I've been wanting a tote gote for a little while and this one just came up for sale real close. Its in ruff shape but workable I think. From the little research I've done the climb away clutch...
I have very recently Found an old BearKat mini bike. I've looked at all the photo's of BearKats I could and can none that ID this model or about what year it was built. I'm told this bike (minus the extra set of pegs ) is original down to the tires. I think it to be about a 1964 model, but any...
Thanks to the OldMiniBikes Community for again hosting this year's Build-Off. I thoroughly enjoyed participating in last year's event and look forward to seeing the progress of entrants this year. Special thanks to mrpat and Cheezy1 for again serving as moderators, as they do a great job and offer humor...
I got a MPC model kit for Christmas :-) It is a 1/8 scale Rupp Roadster, 6" long.
Im old. I used to build models when I was young. Now I have arthritis and doing small intricate tasks like building a model is damn near impossible. I can work in the garage on cars and minibikes, but not this...
My search for the last remaining part continues. PM'd several sources and have struck out. If you have a "spare" Model 600 jackshaft plate/assembly, pm me if you're interested in letting it go. Repop or original.
If some one could help me ID this old go kart. It has helper pedals for little kids which were taken off at least no extra holes were drilled for these pedals. Thanks, Gary M
PS: Was this a racing kart originally now with dirt tires.
So I just went and picked this fox up but I'm not able to identify it. The tank on it was one I had laying around so don't necessarily use it to help identify but it does fit and should have a tank like it maybe not chrome though. Closest I've found to the frame was a sundowner model but...
Working on a 1964 model 404 for a friend. I'm pretty sure the belt on it is not the correct size, as the clutch never disengages it. The clutch is clean and seems to work properly, and has a 3/4 inch width opening between the sheaves at the shaft. The belt that is on it now is .90 inches wide...
This is a bike I've had for a while it's a 431 out of all of my minis this is probly my favorite to ride I have put a nos Briggs ic 5hp in it new belt rebuilt the clutch nos brake band new chains motor mount bushings new timken wheel bearings tubes original tires are in great shape new neck...
Please help me identify this as much as possible.
The guy that sold it to me thinks it may be a 1970 but that was a guess...
I know the 3 1/2 hp engine on it isn't original, neither is the white 4hp. That's OK. I need to buy a bunch of parts. A clutch cover and bracket for sure...
First I want...
I bought my first Tote Gote. Cost me $50. Not sure how good of deal that is based on what it is but it should be fun project for my son and I to work on.
Here are some pictures of it.
The last photo shows the accessory rack (not sure what that is) and the kick stand...
What model Rupps and approximately what year were originally a Mopar lime green. Frame looks like a Banchi but supposedly they were only yellow? Can't find any pics of it. Where would the model\id number be and how to decode? Recently picked up a roller frame cheap.
This is a picture of me (working on my minibike) while my great friend Jim watches the progress.
It was taken in 1969 and I'm pretty sure it was a Ruttman.
Is there any way to identify what model it is just by looking at the front end?
I don't have any other pics of it sorry to say...
I remember...
Hi,
I know this is a mix match of parts thrown together on a bonanza frame,
but its still always fun to know what year and (possible) model the frame is. (?)
Note:
The forks are nice quality/after market made by Dave Miller (thanks Dave!). But, I ended up cutting them at the...
I have this old minibike. It just says "The Cat". What model is it? What year is it?
It has a Tecumseh H30 engine. I assume that is a 3 hp...
Oh. I straightened the front forks since this picture was taken. The springs work great now :-)
The cooler makes a nice tool box too.
