I am not sure what is wore out???? The ratchets, the tiny slotted washers but it won't grab anymore???? Just rebuilt the carb and llokin for some parts to make her pull again...... It is a Rockwell 230 jlo.......any help woud be appreciated.

my predator pullstart won't engadge until it is almost all the way out. i get a 6 inch pull and im afraid i will break the rope. will the old clone starters fit? and it stalls all the time at idle :doah: the rpm's are up to just before the clutch catches.

This Briggs pull start is broken. Must have something to do with the return spring. It should be a easy fix for somebody who knows what they're doing. It's in perfect condition otherwise. It's made out of very durable metal. 13 bucks shipped! And I'll include a new pullstart handle :thumbsup:

Briggs 3hp blower housing and recoil that seems to work great. tight spring and goes all the way back in. Housing is in great shape as far as being straight, solid, and no dents. someone did give it a shabby paint job though. $35 shipped
