I got a VT-7 to use as a project bike.
Jeep4me christened her "Dorothy" because of the basket ... good working name ...
The motor was shot ...
It died on the trail in 2003 and has been sitting in the shed ever since, 14 years.
Tires hold air but are weather checked.
The gas tank is bone dry.
plug was covered with soot.
I pull the ripcord and it dosent feel like there is compression ..
I don't see any holes in the block.
Have finally given up trying to get an old 7HP tecumseh motor for a VT-7. What should I be looking at for a replacement?
Current set up is for a key start with headlight and tail light.

I have Heald VT-7 for sale. I do not know the history of the bike. Comes with everything pictured. Tires look new.
5HP Briggs and Stratton motor, turns freely and has compression. Has not been started.

Hey guys, I was just wondering if any of you with the original super bronc wheels change the bearings. I was sanding down the wheels to paint and I noticed that on of the bearings didn't have the cover on it, and I could see the bearings inside. I believe that the wheels are the original ones...
My newly acquired Heald Super bronc has a a turf tire on the front with square edges. Is this how it is supposed to be? I received the build paper and the picture shows a turf tire. It is kinda hard to turn. It stands up with out using kick stand.
