Hello, This picture shows an unconnected wire (with the red connector on it) It comes out of/leads to the flywheel side of the engine. It's not the coil/killswitch wire; that's the connected black one on top. All other wires are connected and have a purpose I'm aware of and everything...

The hard plastic spark plug cap got broke on my engine. Is the coil wire replaceable on these or is it molded into the coil? Pictures online make it look like it comes off the coil.

Can you replace the spark plug wire on the coil or do you have to replace the entire coil?

this is a harbor freight 6.5hp engine. someone messed the wiring up to put a kill switch on it. I want to either fix it to its original wiring or install the kill switch that someone put on the frame.

On an engine with a small 3 amp lighting coil with a single wire... How would it be wired to a light? Would I just run the wire to the + on the light and ground the - to the engine block? I am refering to a Honda GX with the single wire. Thanks,

I KNOW this GX160 aint got lights.. Does it? Why the resister block? :shrug: I looked it over somewhat, appears to just be the one wire going into the shroud area, which would suggest just a kill wire, and it hooks to the kill switch, plus the yellow wire is obviously some kind of low oil...

I have this old B&S engine. There's no spark. There is a red wire coming out of the engine. I have no knowledge or experience of what this wire is for, or where it goes. I'm beginning to think its a leader for a boat's anchor line. Any ideas ? Thank you very much. :shrug:
