1947 Hiawatha Doodlebug project

This is going to be one of my projects i would like to have done for the 20th minibike reunion 2019. All the hard to find parts are here just need to do a little searching for the correct motor for it. I have the give a huge thank you out to Mike Peek. Peekster .for giving me the great deal and opertunity to own one of these cool and hard to find bikes or should i say scooters. Any help or leads on finding the correct motor would be greatly appreciated.

Is this a yearly event? It's alot closer than the one in New York for those of us out here?

It's yearly. Look up doodlebug reunion Webster city iowa and they have a website. There's also board members on the site you can call and get the 411 from. It's a three day drive for me and I look forward to it every year
