1962 B&S 2HP Engine

Is it worth restoring a 62 (60102) engine? Is there any demand for this series/HP engine?

There are some early bikes that may have used a 2hp engine. Saving any engine that old is worth it, even if it sits on a shelf as eye-candy.

I agree with the good doctor ...especially if it's an oddball (at least to me) 2 horse.

But who cares about some so-called demand. Do it for fun.

On the other hand, surely someone somewhere will be interested in it if return value is your main concern. That famous auction site comes to mind...

2hp pulls this mini bike with 145 pound rider.yes it is true, the 60s series Briggs powered some lighter direct drive 35 chain bikes.......with a 7yr old at 90 to 100 lbs it would be sweet.....
