1970 BGW Trirod

Hello:
Just wanted to introduce myself to the group. I live in South Louisiana and just purchases a BGW Trirod to ride in parades when I am not in my 1961 VW dune buggy. It is working but I will be stripping it down and repainting the fiberglass and frame to get it parade ready. Here are a few pics.

Welcome to OldMiniBikes a great place ! There are plenty of helpful people here to assist you if you ever need it. That is a real nice looking Trirod you have there and your Pit crew looks top notch :thumbsup:
Yesterday was 45 & sunny in Ohiout: but I still managed a few laps around the block on my Tri-Sport trike

Nice trike. You better watch out ,soon your pit crew will be able to reach the handlebars then you wont get any seat time.

Thanks ya'll and my helper is already trying to take it for a ride. The poblem I am having right now is alot of times when I start it it want to take off before I can sit on it. The Commet slip clutch is all in working order but it looks like the belt is a little snug. I lowered the idle to see if that would help and it did a little.
