No, The General tires give a good indication of the timeframe 68-into 69. Carlilse tire started to produce the Rounded "Universal” tire for better handling for 1969 and they made their way onto those, then by 1970 They were using a 4.00x6" "Knobby" Carlilse on a fair amount of the lineup. There are little frame changes lacking on yours as well that indicate and earlier frame, Very nice find/bike!!!!!!!

Late 1969 had the 530/450-6 Carlisle Universal tread tires and the shocks were the exposed spring style on the BC1500.

yes “universal” was the designation for those, just went back and edited, not enough coffee in me yet this morning!

Also, the early 69’s still had the bendix brake and most early ones I’ve seen didn’t have lights or rear taillight bracket unless added as an option.

Congrats...in my opinion that's the best mini-bike of all time.
Not the most practical (if there is such a thing) but just cool.
