1970 Foremost Golden Pinto build

Well today is the first day of work on the "new to me" mini. Everything went pretty smooth as all the nuts and bolts didn't come off without a fight. Upon close inspection of the frame and fork assembly I have found nothing I need to be worried about. All metal is solid with just light surface rust and very very little pitting on the rear fender and brake pedal. It took a little longer to strip then I expected but since this is a father / son build , I allowed my son to do about 90% of the work. Man it feels good! Later this week the frame and fork assembly will be sent to Advanced Powder Coating Systems to get a fresh new look. I was given this mini last Friday by client who made me promise to bring it back to life so day 1 ends here. More to come soon as the Foremost takes shape.
