2 new local builds

here are some pics of john r gangs new build and wildman 500 build. wilds is complete except for forks, waiting on triple trees, john r gangs is on the fixture.

UPDATE!!!! Wildman small tire chassis done...

well its time for wildman 500 to pick it up, we will get the pegs on when he gets brake, engine, ect sorted out......

When my wallet gets fatter and I get some expereince I wanna build a drag bike like that roller righ there. Sooooooo kool. Nice build, what engine is it gonna run? :thumbsup:

Looks good.

I was wondering if it matters where the rear axle is located in relationship to the lower frame rails?

Just thinking about when the power gets rolled on and how it pushes on a frame.
If the axle is above the lower frame rails then it would seem to help push the front down a little.

If the axle is below the lower frame rails then it might tend to lift the front end.

I'm not really sure just how much any of this effects the bike when power gets rolled on.

Of course there is the tire radius that would act as a lever but what is the optimum setup?

Interesting stuff to think about.
